QCOHERENT SOFTWARE RELEASES LIDAR SERVER VERSION 1.2
Colorado Springs, CO - QCoherent Software is pleased to announce the release of LIDAR Server version 1.2. LIDAR Server is the premier web mapping solution for LIDAR point clouds and is built specifically for visualization and delivery of LIDAR over the web. Recent capabilities added to LIDAR Server include:
- Additional profile/cross-section visualizations
- Improved performance
- Silverlight® API
- Amazon web service (AWS) cloud deployment options
- A geographical project index
- Customizable LAS click-and-ship configurations.
LIDAR Server is the optimal way to provide stakeholder access to LIDAR point clouds and is compatible with desktop web mapping clients such as Google Earth and browser-based map server technologies like Silverlight and OpenLayers. LIDAR Server facilitates rapid LIDAR mash-ups with other map layers such as Bing Maps, Google® Earth, Open Street Maps, and is also compatible with other map server technologies such as ESRI’s® ArcServer.
